meet pastor greg

Pastor Greg Hill and his wife Kathy have served in Calvary Chapel ministries across the U.S. for over 38 years.

Raised in a broken home and caught up in the drug and party culture of the 1970s, Greg experienced a radical conversion to Christ that became a powerful testimony of God’s healing and redemption.

Influenced early on by Pastor Chuck Smith’s teaching and a small Calvary Chapel church in the Midwest, Greg quickly grew in faith and began serving in evangelism, including leading a Coffee House Ministry during the height of the Jesus Movement.

Greg and Kathy trained for ministry at Calvary Chapel Bible College and later at the Calvary Chapel School of Ministry in Costa Mesa, California.

Over the years, Greg has been involved in church planting, youth camp development, disaster relief, and international missions. From rural Indiana to Charleston, SC, and eventually settling in Travelers Rest, SC, he has faithfully pastored church plants, taught the Bible, led outreach to the homeless, and launched mission trips to Central America.

Today, he pastors Calvary Chapel Greenville, where verse-by-verse teaching, worship, and prayer remain central to the church’s heart for God and His people.
